This issue presents a collection of contemporary legal studies that reflects the journal's continuing commitment to examining both normative and practical dimensions of Indonesian law. The articles discuss the formulation of design change clauses in design and build contracts to strengthen legal certainty in construction procurement (Laia et al., 2026), legal protection for online loan borrowers against illegal collection practices and misuse of personal data (Norman et al., 2026), the application of the lex specialis systematis principle in tax criminal law to maintain doctrinal consistency and legal certainty (Saat et al., 2026), the normative consistency of the application of the principle of popular sovereignty in the 2024 regional elections (Mulyadi et al., 2026), and the formulation of bad-faith parameters in actions seeking cancellation of well-known trademarks to ensure legal certainty (Nabil et al., 2026).
