This issue presents a diverse collection of legal studies that reflects the journalΓÇÖs early commitment to examining both normative and practical dimensions of Indonesian law. The articles discuss the legal politics of statutory formation through the lens of Pancasila as a guiding legal ideal (Suhariyanto, 2018), the implementation of variation order clauses within contractual obligations (Setiawan, 2018), judicial independence and its relationship to the authority of court decisions in corruption cases (Sibarani, 2018), legal protection for adherents of traditional beliefs (Nurmawati, 2018), and the accountability of regional heads under Law Number 23 of 2014 (Ismail, 2018).
SETARA: Jurnal Ilmu Hukum is a scholarly journal that focuses on the development of legal studies across various fields, including general legal science as well as specific branches of law, such as criminal law, civil law, business law, constitutional law, and administrative law. The scope of the journal covers research grounded in theoretical legal thought, normative analysis, juridical review, and sociological approaches to legal issues emerging within society. Through the publication of scholarly articles, this journal serves as an academic platform for lecturers, researchers, practitioners, and students to present ideas, research findings, and scientific contributions aimed at strengthening legal development, legal certainty, justice, and the protection of public rights.
