This issue presents a diverse collection of legal studies that reflects the journalΓÇÖs early commitment to examining both normative and practical dimensions of Indonesian law. The articles discuss the legal politics of statutory formation through the lens of Pancasila as a guiding legal ideal (Suhariyanto, 2018), the implementation of variation order clauses within contractual obligations (Setiawan, 2018), judicial independence and its relationship to the authority of court decisions in corruption cases (Sibarani, 2018), legal protection for adherents of traditional beliefs (Nurmawati, 2018), and the accountability of regional heads under Law Number 23 of 2014 (Ismail, 2018).
