SETARA: Jurnal Ilmu Hukum is a scholarly journal that publishes research articles in the field of legal studies. The journal focuses on the development of legal science, legal theory, legal practice, justice, governance, and the role of law in responding to social, institutional, and public policy issues.

The journal welcomes manuscripts that provide original analysis, critical reflection, or empirical findings related to the development and application of law. Submissions may use normative juridical, empirical juridical, comparative, socio-legal, philosophical, historical, or interdisciplinary approaches, as long as they contribute to legal scholarship and are relevant to the scope of the journal.

Focus

The main focus of the journal is the advancement of legal knowledge through academic discussion on legal principles, legal norms, legal institutions, legal reform, access to justice, and the implementation of law within society.

Scope

The scope of SETARA: Jurnal Ilmu Hukum includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

Types of Manuscripts

The journal accepts original research articles, conceptual or theoretical legal studies, case analyses, and critical reviews of legal development. All submitted manuscripts must demonstrate academic originality, clear legal argumentation, proper citation, and relevance to the journal’s focus and scope.

The journal is intended for lecturers, researchers, legal scholars, practitioners, policy makers, students, and other readers who are interested in the development of legal studies and the improvement of legal systems in Indonesia and beyond.
